I’m Jaime López-Heredia, Sales Director for South Europe at Traydstream. My role is all about helping banks in their digital transformation journey to optimize and automate their trade finance document checking processes by leveraging our advanced OCR, AI, and ML technology.
The Challenge
One of the clearest lessons I’ve learned in my professional career and previous software companies is that some of the best sales professionals I’ve worked with have been women. Some of the most successful professionals in the solution selling field are those who are structured, strategic, and meticulous in their way of working. What I’ve seen many times is that women in sales follow the sales process rigorously, ensuring that no opportunities are missed and that every client interaction is well prepared. In general, the best performers are those who take the time to truly understand the client’s needs, finds compelling events, plan their approach, and execute with precision. Selling is not about speaking is about listening.
The Message
Gender equality in the solution selling field isn’t just about policies or quotas, it’s about mentoring and sponsoring talented women around us. Based on my experience the best sales teams are diverse, and companies that embrace inclusion will always outperform those that don’t. The more we create opportunities and break down barriers, the stronger, successful and more innovative we will be.
