Meet Arisha Kashif, People and Brand Analyst at Traydstream
Introduction
I’m Arisha Kashif, a 24-year-old psychology graduate from Sabancı University, Istanbul. I completed my degree in June 2024 and now work full-time at Traydstream as a People and Brand Analyst.
1. The Transition Experience
How has the journey from intern to full-time People and Brand Analyst felt for you, both personally and professionally?
The transition has been incredibly exciting and fulfilling. During my internship, I worked hard and hoped for a full-time offer, but when Anand Iyer approached me after just two months, it was both a milestone and a moment of immense encouragement. Personally, I felt proud to take on this role, and professionally, it’s been a great opportunity to apply my psychology background in a corporate setting. I’ve grown so much already and love working in a team where I can contribute and learn.
2. Growth and Learning
What’s one key skill or insight you gained during your internship that has made a meaningful impact on how you approach your role today?
One of the biggest skills I gained was learning to use BambooHR, my first experience with an HRIS system. I also worked on performance management with Anand Iyer and Harpreet Kala, where I was able to bring a fresh psychological perspective. Creating visuals and analyzing data taught me how to evaluate processes and develop actionable insights—something I now use daily in my role.
3. Memorable Moments
Is there a specific project or experience from your internship that stands out as a defining moment in your journey at Traydstream?
What stands out most isn’t a project but when Anand offered me the full-time role. His encouragement and advice to keep an open mind about my career path had a big impact on me. It reminded me of the importance of humility, hunger, and hard work— Traydstream’s core values—which he saw in me early on. That recognition pushed me to keep improving and growing.
4. Making an Impact
As you step into this new role, what are you most excited about contributing to Traydstream’s People and Brand function?
I’m excited to help showcase Traydstream’s culture and values to the world. The People and Brand function plays a crucial role in shaping how the company is perceived, and I’m glad to be part of a team that aligns so well with my interests and skills. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the fintech space by ensuring our people and brand stand out.
5. Inspiring Others
What message or advice would you share with future interns about how to make the most of their time at Traydstream?
Stay consistent, focus on Traydstream’s core values, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Asking questions is essential for growth—if you don’t ask, you don’t learn. Also, don’t fear failure. It’s an opportunity to grow and find new ways to succeed. Always take feedback positively, even if it’s critical, as it’s one of the most valuable tools for growth.
6. A Shoutout to Emma Davies
I’d like to acknowledge my reporting manager, Emma Davies, who has been a wonderful person to work with. Despite her years of experience, she remains incredibly humble. She always thanks me after I complete a task, which might seem small, but it means a lot. She’s approachable, supportive, and a true role model for what a great supervisor should be.
