Traydstream confirms T.S. Shankar as Area Head – Asia Pacific.

Traydstream is pleased to announce a further expansion of its Asia Pacific presence with the appointment of T.S. Shankar as Area Head Asia (excluding India and Pakistan), based in Singapore. Shankar is an experienced banking professional with over 30 years of relationship management in Correspondent Banking covering Cross Border Trade and Cash management.

Sameer Sehgal, Chief Executive Officer, says “Shankar represents another step change for Traydstream in this very important trade market. His experience in South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan will be vital for the commercial conversations that allow our platform solution to bolster document processing for many more businesses and banks. We are pleased to have a leader with Shankar’s expertise and connectivity for us as we embark further into the Asian markets.”

Shankar, who was most recently at Western Union as Head of Asia – FIs was previously with Standard Chartered Bank and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.. Expressing his enthusiasm for Traydstream he said  “Developing creative client solutions and working with professional teams that deliver to client needs is a passion for me and Traydstream represents a vast opportunity in the market that is inspiring.
