SMBC Bank International uses the Traydstream as a Service solution to automate trade document checking

SMBC Bank International, based in London, UK, is the latest global bank to engage Traydstream’s Traydserv offering, which allows clients to immediately start using the platform on live transactions.

Chris Hall, Executive Director of Trade Finance Operations, SMBC, stated “We have been impressed by the capabilities of the product to improve our processing efficiency while lowering our risk. A key point in our decision was that we can realize immediate benefits on live transactions without a lengthy implementation period.”

Traydserv is a cloud based offering, which provides banking and corporate clients with the capability to review discrepancies across Import and Export LCs, Collections and Open Account, with the Traydstream global team of experienced Trade Experts supporting the training process.

“We are proud to be partnering with SMBC in Europe,” said Moshe Wolfson, Origination Sales Head for Banks in Europe and Americas. “Our automation for full workability, UCP, ISBP rule checks, along with integration with market-leading compliance providers, is a one stop shop for our clients.”
